ABOUT SAINT MICHAEL’S SEMINARY

National Seminary of the Charismatic Episcopal Church of North America (CEC–NA)

Our Heritage

Our Story

Saint Michael’s Seminary is the national seminary of the Charismatic Episcopal Church of North America, formed to raise up faithful priests and deacons for sacramental, Spirit- filled ministry. We exist to serve the Church by forming clergy who will equip the saints and feed the sheep through Word, Sacrament, and Spirit.

The Mission

Our Purpose

Saint Michael’s Seminary exists to prepare men for ordained ministry who are loyal, strong, faithful, and grounded in the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Our focus is not merely academic. We form the whole man—spiritually, theologically, and pastorally.

Convergence Worship

The Charismatic Episcopal Church of North America practices convergence worship, drawing from three historic streams of Christian life:

Evangelical

Word & Mission

Sacramental

Historic Liturgy & Church Life

Charismatic

Life in the Holy Spirit

Clergy, Calling, and Family

Saint Michael’s Seminary forms clergy who live out their vocation within the context of work, marriage, and family life.

The Charismatic Episcopal Church of North America affirms marriage as a holy vocation and does not mandate celibacy for priests. We recognize that many men are called to priesthood while also being called to be faithful husbands, fathers, and providers.

Formation is structured to allow students to engage in seminary training regardless of geographic location, while upholding high standards of discipline, participation, and spiritual formation.
